Far-reaching changes in population-environment dynamics are very evident in the urbanized areas of Asia. This multi disciplinary analysis applies usable dynamic modelling concepts to the population growth/environmental change/quality of life nexus in five medium sized cities in Asia: Faisalabad, Pakistan; Khon Kaen, Thailand; Cebu City, the Philippines; Pusan, South Korea; and Kobe, Japan.
