A 2001 history of the Roman Catholic Church and schools in the Archdiocese of Kuching, which covers Catholic activities in Sarawak, Sabah and Brunei. The focus is largely on the 25 years since the ecclesiastical province was decreed in 1976 but a summary account is given of the monasteries, missions, schools and churches which were established after the 1881 start of Catholic work. A wealth of black-and-white archival photographs enriches the volume. Bibliography.
