The inaugural issue of Ellipsis Journal is focused on the Letter A. The journal features a music score written for cello using 'A' as its starting point, an exploration in typography and language with Abbreviation and Androgyny, and a video work that rethinks the notion of Anticlockwise. Absurdity is channelled through the act of painting and sculpture is embraced through the idea of Alchemy. Photography is used to capture the angulations of Architecture while the written word looks at a dialogue between the letters A and B in Aftergarten, authors' bizarre Appetites, and tense relationship with Animals and the Axis.
