Second edition of the scholarly 1977 study of various Sanskrit inscriptions at Angkor and their implications for understanding the Indian/Iranian influences in Cambodia in the early centuries AD. The inscriptions are translated and related to the deities, legends, beliefs and to the Sufism of Iran and Iranian-influenced Hinduism then widely spread in East Asia.
