Twenty-nine years of international participation in historic preservation in Nepal's Kathmandu Valley has revealed significant differences in restoration approaches to historical buildings, some controversial, to explore this important subject nine experts on conservation here discuss and present their views, focusing on the Sulima Temple in the Patan Darbar Square, possibly the oldest intact multi-tier pagoda in the Kathmandu Valley.
